One person simply identified as Seun, an alleged member of the Eiye confraternity, has been killed and beheaded during a cult clash in the Ijoko area of Ogun State. According to reports, Seun, a fuel attendant at a filling station in Alaroro, Ijoko, was killed in a reprisal attack. He was decapitated, with his head hung on the Ijoko bridge. The Kogi State Police Command on Sunday confirmed the killing of two of the abducted students of Confluence University of Science and Technology, CUSTECH, Osara. DAILY POST recalls that armed men suspected to be bandits had on May 9 invaded the school while the students were studying in their classes ahead of their examinations. An unspecified number of students were abducted by the assailants after sporadic shootings. Some of the abducted students were recently released by the kidnappers.
