In a bid to calm rising tensions in Nigeria, the APC USA Chairman, Professor Adesegun Labinjo, has appealed to Nigerian youths to abandon plans for protest and instead engage in dialogue with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Labinjo, who spoke on behalf of the APC-USA Chapter, acknowledged the frustrations of the youth but emphasized the need for patience and vigilance. The diaspora Boss made this know during a telephone chat with the Chief Media Editor of Brooom Nigeria, Prince Babatunde Kolawole. He made emphasis bases on the fact that President Tinubu is a listening leader committed to repositioning the country for sustainable economic development and growth.
The Chairman commended the President’s removal of fuel subsidies, describing it as a necessary and thoughtful plan to give Nigeria a better deal after years of abuse and mismanagement.
Labinjo cautioned that the planned protest may be hijacked by misguided elements, urging the youth to engage in intellectual and substantive dialogue instead. He expressed confidence in the President’s ability to address the nation’s challenges and ensure lasting economic growth, stability, and prosperity.
The APC Diaspora Chairman concluded by urging Nigerians to contribute meaningful and positive ideas towards nation-building, rather than engaging in activities that could potentially pull the country down.
